CANCELLATION POLICY 

 

A strong foundation for the veterinary/client relationship is rooted in mutual trust and respect. Our commitment to punctuality reflects our dedication to providing timely and efficient service for your scheduled appointments. We kindly request that you extend the courtesy of a call to inform us if you are unable to keep your appointment.

While we offer reminder calls/texts as a helpful service the day before your scheduled visit, we emphasize that the ultimate responsibility for remembering your appointment rests with you. To streamline communication and ensure the smooth operation of our clinic, we have outlined our policies regarding missed appointments below. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is greatly appreciated.

TRADITIONAL APPOINTMENTS

We recognize that unforeseen emergencies or family/work commitments may lead to missing scheduled appointments. In consideration of the impact on our ability to provide timely care to all patients, we kindly request a minimum of one business day's advance notice for appointment cancellations. Failing to cancel an appointment without notification may hinder another patient from receiving essential treatment.​

To ensure a fair and efficient scheduling process, we have implemented a policy for repeated appointment cancellations. In the event of three failures to cancel or reschedule within one business day, a charge of $25 will be applied to your account. Subsequently, future appointments can be secured by paying a $25 deposit, which will be credited towards your bill. However, this deposit becomes non-refundable if you fail to attend the appointment or provide less than one business day's notice for cancellation. 

 

SURGERIES AND PROCEDURES

Clients who do not provide a cancellation or rescheduling notice at least 3 business days in advance and those who reschedule their procedure more than once will incur a $100 deposit for rescheduling. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your procedure unless the rescheduled date is canceled or rescheduled once again. If, unfortunately, the need arises for another rescheduling or cancellation, the $100 deposit will no longer be allocated towards the procedure and will be retained as damages. Another deposit of $100 will be required to reschedule that procedure. 

MOBILE APPOINTMENTS

 For our mobile visits, a mandatory $100 deposit is required for all appointments. This deposit serves to secure your visit and will contribute towards the visit's cost. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, we kindly request notice of at least 3 business days in advance. Failure to adhere to this notice period will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. Your understanding and compliance with these guidelines ensure a smooth and efficient mobile visit experience for all parties.

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly reach out to us at (815) 644-8161. If you are unable to connect with our receptionist immediately, we appreciate your effort to leave a detailed message on our voicemail. If you wish to reschedule, please include your name and phone number in the message. Rest assured, we will promptly return your call to assist with any adjustments to your appointment. We appreciate your cooperation.
