The Animal Medical Center of Gilman is proud to host the fourth annual Labrador Lap and Schnauzer Shuffle, a community-centered charity event that donates all proceeds to breast cancer research! Join us on Saturday, October 31, 2026, for a heartwarming morning of races, dogs, and family-friendly fun.

Participants can choose between two race options: the 1-mile Schnauzer Shuffle or the 5K Labrador Lap. Whether you're a seasoned runner or simply looking to enjoy a walk with your furry friend, this event is all about coming together for a great cause. Check-in begins at 9:15 a.m., with races starting promptly at 10:00 a.m. The event takes place at the Animal Medical Center of Gilman, so don't worry about traveling very far!

Following the races, stick around for more fun, with on-site food, beverages, and entertainment for both humans and their canine companions! It’s the perfect way to spend a fall morning supporting a meaningful cause.

The early registration fee is $35 through September 30, 2026 and includes race-day essentials plus an exclusive event T-shirt. Registrations submitted after October 1st are $40 and include only race-day essentials. To receive a commemorative event T-shirt, be sure to register early.

All participating dogs must be current on their Rabies and DHPP vaccinations. While not required, the Bordetella vaccine is strongly recommended. Proof of vaccination for your furry friends is required before or at check-in.
